Dr. Yasmin F. Qasim

Dr. Yasmin Qasim, a graduate of Dow University of Health Sciences, completed her residency in Pathology at the University of Kansas, Wichita, followed by a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She currently practices as a pathologist in Southern California.
A respected figure in both medicine and community service, Dr. Qasim serves as President of the local APPNA chapter and of Saba Homes, an initiative supporting orphaned children. She also led the California chapter of the Human Development Foundation of North America (HDFNA) for 12 years. Deeply committed to social welfare, she is active in MGYW – Merit Grant for Young Women, AMWEC – Women’s Empowerment Council, and FOPL – Friends of Pakistan Link. She has also hosted Pakistani radio and TV shows.
In recognition of her leadership, she received the Physician of the Year Award (PACC, 2024) and the WOW Women Award for community service (2025).
